Which oracle driver has been installed on the servers?
i had similar problems some years ago. The Oracle Instant Client 11 (not 10!) seems to be the most stable version which php_oci8 can handle very well. The only drawback is: oracle 11 driver cannot communicate with oracle databases lower than v10. It wasn't an issue here, but if you still need to connect to oracle 8/9 you need to use the oracle 10 client which causes much faults on our servers. |

Hi, anithing new about this ? my server crash some times, yesterday 2 times in 2 hours and cannot sleep this night... |

I am finally back to the official release 2.25 and the problem is gone.
It is a problem Longhe Apache 2.4 for me. |

That is why we recommend to run php over fcgid instead of the module. |
