I've just downloaded and installed the latest Apache, MySQL and PHP on my windows XP, but am not sure if it is working properly. Are there any tests that can be done.
I did all this because I'm trying to build my own website and I'm trying to teach myself through online tutorials, but have run into a stumbling block. I'm trying to learn this stuff on my home computer and don't have an official website yet. I want to get it all ready before I actually have one hosted and my own domain name.
All the tests I have done haven't worked, but this may be because I'm trying the wrong things.
Any help would be appreciated. |

To test MySQL and PHP you can try mysqlinfo.zip which is at the bottom of the download page.
Next time, please tell us more about the errors you get.

There haven't been any error messages. All I've tried to do is make some PHP scripts, but they haven't worked at all. That's why I think that I may have not set it up properly, but I had no idea how to test.
I'll try mysqlinfo.zip
