Hi there,
We're running Apache 2.2.5 as a reverse proxy for our web applications.
We'e got a subdomain for every application and are using a wildcard certificate for SSL.
This works very well for almost everybody, but some clients using IE5 and IE6 experience some trouble using SSL.
After some time (or keeping the finger on the F5 key) this page is displayed: "This page contains secure and unsecure elements. Do you want to display this page?"
Clicking yes (of course) produces a "Page cannot be displayed" error. Seems that the Browser has lost the certificate.
The access log and error log don't show any irregularities.
- Any idea?

| This is going to sound stupid, but I just had this problem myself with Firefox, once I rebooted the computer I was using, everything was back fine. This is probably not your answer, but one can try. I'd also dump the cache at the same time. |
