Hallo @ all
After i've compiled mod_security 2.1.3 for Apache 2.2.6 on Windows XP , copied the required files into the directory, and edited httpd.conf. I started Apache using httpd -k install and than start. After that I started ApacheMonitor.exe unter /bin. I saw this line at the bottom of the application.
Code: |
Apache/2.2.6 (Win32) mod_ssl/2.2.6 OpenSSL/0.9.8g PHP/5.2.5 Apache/2.2.0 (Fedora) |
Fedora?? It appears after i installed mod_security.
phpinfo.php shows me unter section apache2handler Apache Version Apache/2.2.0 (Fedora)
Oh my god, what did I do wrong?
How do you compile mod_security? Because I've to copy some files into my built Apache Directory to get it compiled. I saw 2 files in the binary-packages here on apachelounge which differ to mine! My output is mod_security2.dll and the compatible libfile and I _DONT_ have libxml2.dll
I'm really a newbie and want to know how u guys get these stuff working:(
Please HEELP me |

Check your Mod_Security2 config. Mod_Security allows you the option of manipulating the server signature with the
SecServerSignature "Whatever you want"
directive.
This may be what is causing this.
As far as compiling ... well ... seems like yours works. |

acording to the libxml.dll. It's still a mystery for me. Because i have to remove serveral lines in the corerules which contain 'XML'. |
