Hi Folks,
I want to write to a file the hostname and the port no through which the client connects to the server in to another jnlp file. Is it possible to do this by writing a servlet program and then deploying it at the Apache server cgi-bin or somwhere.
So whenever the request comes from the browser this servlet por some script (not sure) executes and writes into that file, the hostname and portno.
Please help. |

| Does access.log not show that info? Cause there is only port 80 for http or 443 for SSL (which can have a different log file). Of cause you can configure the output of the logs and may create a custom one. |
