| Hi, this must be a dumb question..bear with me..I have a laptop with Win XP SP2. I installed Apached 2.2.4 for Windows apache_2.2.4-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi and used localhost as the domain and sever name and let it select port 80 etc. it starts the Apache service successfully but when I go to IE7 and type localhost, it says It Works! and does not show me the Apache test page? DO I also need to install PHP (if so what version please) to make it work? thanks |

The page "It Works" is all you get with a clean Apache.
What test page do you mean ?
For installing php see the How-to's & Documentation & Tips forum, there are some guides.
