PHP install or something else?
under Windows there shouldn't be a problem. |

Why on windows would the web site that I am installing not need write permission the apache userdir only grants read permission
could it be that I am running Apache with no windows registry
the website is called wordpressmu |

it needs write permission to write the htaccess file in its own dir. so write permission has to be to htdocs dir. |
