Installed v2.0 in XP Pro as local host. My goal is to set up localhost server for testing web pages.
When I start the console, I get a black window and blinking cursor.
Instructions say if it's installed correctly i'll get Apache screen.
newbie
Thanks for all help received. |

it sounds that everything is ok. try http://127.0.0.1 or http://127.0.0.1:8080 to test the installation |

Thanks for replying. I have it running and get the Apache screen. PHP is installed and running a test script.
Now that Mysql, Apache and PHP are installed I need to learn how to use them.
Perhaps you know this answer. Do all PHP pages I develop need to be in the Windows path?? |
