start from the commandline with httpd
browse to apache\bin
e.g.
C:\Apache2\bin\httpd |

I get:
"Unable to run specified program" (this is my 'guessed' English translation, since my system is localized).
Using Apache2 latest binaries downloaded from: http://www.apachelounge.com/download/ |

Where did you unpacked the zip file? e.g. = example given look for httpd.exe or use the windows search |

nope that is only for apachelounge version. The one from apache.org does not require that. |
