Thanks for the ctach up.

Works fine here at the Apachelounge. I am running the Non-thread-safe Win32 binaries with fastcgi, which is faster with fastcgi this because no thread safe overhead..

And good news that APC is working again.

So we no longer need the MySQL PHP Connector or are you guys using the one for 5.2.0?

Just curious, I was considering upgrading but didn't see the latest MySQL connector available so I was holding off.

Which Connector do you mean? php_mysql.dll or php_mysqli.dll ?

I'm using PHP 5.2.1.

Well, the two on the MySQL site.

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/php/

I was always under the assumption that you needed the latest connectors from MySQL for whatever version(s) you are running. Since they only have the two for MySQL 5.0.27 and PHP 5.2.0, I was kinda waiting for them to come out with the MySQL 5.0.27 and PHP 5.2.1 connectors before I upgraded.

However, if the native connectors that come with PHP 5.2.1 work then I guess the ones at MySQL are no longer needed?

They are the same Wink And Since PHP 5.?.? they are included and you don't have to download them separately from mysql.com
