| Has anyone used Apache 2.2.3 with SSL downloaded from apachelounge. Is is stable to be used in production. Any comments would be appreciated |

Apache runs stable with PHP 5.2 (test on windows 2003 and XP Pro (german)). With a hardware firewall only Port 80 open is the only security hole your own app's like cgi scripts or PHP.
Maybe some PHP extensions make some touble in the memory. So if you disable all unneeded you same RAM and debugging time 
If you run PHP you have to decide to run it as modul or cgi or fcgi. |
