Folks,
How does Apache send out an email? Does it have SMTP built-in or does it rely on there being an email client on the host to send emails? If so, then I'm not sure how to deal with that as I use Webmail on a remote client for all my email needs.
Regards,
Tony |

Apache has no SMTP. You have to install another program. If you want to send a mail with PHP you can use a local SMTP oder the one from your provider (if he allow that). Can be find in the PHP.ini
[mail function]
SMTP = localhost
; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = you@domain.tld |
