I'm on the verge of setting up my own server, and I'm considering using Apache Server and Apache Traffic Server. Currently, I have a QNAP NAS hosting seven websites, with more in the pipeline. While it's functional, it doesn't quite meet the performance standards I'm aiming for. I have a substantial background in computing, but my Apache skills are rather limited. I understand that there's a steep learning curve ahead. I still recall the days of CPM DOS prompts and commands, but things have certainly evolved since then. So, here's my question: Would it be acceptable to ask for help with beginner-level questions here, or is there someone who could assist with the installation for a reasonable fee? Additionally, if anyone knows of any beginner-friendly resources like "Apache for Dummies" that could help me get started, I'd greatly appreciate it. |
