Hi there!
I have 2 Apache servers installed on my Windows 8.1 machine: 2.2 and 2.4
The 2.2 works great. It's fast and pages are always served instantly. With 2.4 it's not always the case. Once every few minutes it just hangs indefinitely until I have to manually stop and start the server via Apache monitor.
I really don't have the first clue as to how or where to look for the problem. I understand that this is just the place get some help and sort it out
Can anybody please point me in the right direction...? |

Do you have entries with AcceptEx in your error.log ?
From the announcement:
When you have hangs, slow traffic and/or when having in your log entries like Asynchronous AcceptEx failed. You can try the following settings:
AcceptFilter http none
AcceptFilter https none
EnableSendfile off
EnableMMAP off |
