| X64, amd64 and x86-64 are names for the same processor type. It's often called amd64 because AMD came up with it initially. All current general-public 64-bit desktops and servers have an amd64 processor. |

thanks for the heads up.But i meant that for some reason that amd64 version do not work for my machine,It wont run for some reason.
for example see this web site https://commaster.net/content/installing-memcached-windows that i pulled file for my site. there's a win64 and amd64. The amd64 do not work for my machine only the win64 |
