Hello, i'm using Apache Web Server 2.4 on a Windows 10 OS.
I want to access a third party cloud domain using an Apache Web Server i'm setting up on my local machine and i want to access it over https.
I was able to access localhost on https using a security certificate generated through OPENSSL. Am I right in understanding that i cannot do the same to access this third party website? (I've tried and am getting an error saying the site is not reachable)
Will I need to pay money to get a Security Certificate from a CA or are there any free options out there? All the free options i've seen seem to be for websites hosted by the applicant, not third party ones. |

You can use "let's encrypt" for free. There are several topics about that in the forum. |
