Hi all,

I have a Ubuntu server, with Apache2 installed. This server is connected to a router (Router 1), which itself is connected to another modem router (Router 2). I will like to set my server up as a virtual host, which can then be accessed externally.

I would think that the public IP address of the network, as well as static IPs of Router1 and the apache server, with port forwarding configured for Router 1 & 2, would be needed to enable public access to the server. Is that correct?

Otherwise, is there a more straightforward way of enabling external access?

Many thanks,
Ed

That works. As long you forward the port you can run apache on it.
