I am trying to run my installation of Apache2, but I cannot access it from the CLI. I get an error saying that the service or program does not exist, but I know that I installed it. How can I solve this problem? Confused

Good morning.

For starters, what Operating System are you running? Is it 64-bit or 32-bit?

What version of Apache Server are you trying to run? Is it 64-bit or 32-bit?

Thanks. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04, 32-bit. I know I installed Apache 2 days ago, but it doesn't show up on my system. Can you help?

There it is

/etc/init.d/apache2ctl

or

/etc/init.d/apachectl

The binary itself is

/usr/sbin/apache2
