Hello, all. I'm new to the forums and also new to Apache. I've been a Windows server administrator for many years.
Recently my company purchased a company who's website is hosted on CentOS with Apache and I'm attempting to bring this server into our hosting center. We've setup a new server and installed the website.
When we access the website internally using the 192.x.x.x IP address the site works good. However, when we attempt to access it through the public IP the performance is spotty. Pages will half-load or sometimes not load at all.
Some would think that it is the Internet connection to blame, but I have Windows web servers on the same network that do not exhibit this behavior. The developer and admin on this site wants to blame the network, of course. However, I don't have enough knowledge about Apache to argue either way.
Any thoughts to possible causes of this issue? |
