Hey guys, I just read that beginning from Apache 2.4.12, it's ready for HTTP/2 using either mod_h2 or mod_spdy but I can't find these in 2.4.12 or 2.4.16 zip files, are they going to be built for the next Apache release?

No.
mod_h2 is ready (very experimental), but you did not read much beyond there.
Only works with worker mpm, works with the event mpm via a hack. No winnt mpm.
Requires a patch to mod_ssl (until ALPN is backported to 2.4 from trunk).
I actually got it to compile and load on Apache's trunk (just call it Apache 2.5.0 for now) but it did nothing. That's when I started reading further myself. |

I'm going to retract some of the above statement.
I upgraded my Firefox from 31 ESR to 38 ESR a couple days ago and since the module's author has mentioned his intention to "create THE PATCH for backporting soon" I thought I would give my last trunk build a try again with the newer buggier Firefox. I see h2 is now working.

I should note I had to manually turn on the http/2 option in Firefox, I did this before testing the first time with FF 31.8. This may have already changed or will at some point I'd imagine. |

That is good news 
I thought Firefox 34 and higher had http/2 enabled by default? Are you sure you had to enable it manually? |

Again, I did it back at 31.8 ESR so I do not know if it was enabled by Mozilla in 34 (as there was no 34 ESR). If they said so, then it must be.
Edit:
You should also note Appendix A. of the standard, TLS 1.2 Cipher Suite Black List, if you have not already done so. |
