Topic: Migration 2.2 to 2.4 Many Missing .so

I am trying to build a complete duplicate of a production website on a development machine so I can test changes. The production machine is running CentOS6 with Apache 2.2, while I built the development machine from the current CentOS7 with Apache 2.4. When I try to run Apache with the conf files from the old site many of the .so files are missing. Do I just delete every line that Apache 2.4 objects to and hope that the site will still work, or is there some checklist I can run through. I tried searching for posts relating to the specific files that are objected to and I cannot find much useful advice.

Oh gosh no. I hope you saved the original 2.4 config files. I know reading sucks but;

scroll down to the Run Time Changes section.

You can cheat some and copy your virtualhosts from your 2.2 config and paste them into your new vhosts file. You will need mod_access_compat loaded and you should scan the other 2.4 config files for "Require all granted/denied" and replace with the appropriate order, allow, deny, satisfy you're used to.
