Hi everyone,
I'm using Windows+Apache with satisfaction to serve a medium amount of websites.
I'm trying to use mod_evasive to limit the DDOS attacks on my server, but I'm having some trouble with it.
First of all, if I disable the configuration (commenting it), and keep only the "LoadModule" line uncommented, my users keep seeing the "403 error". And that's pretty strange.
If I enable the configuration and try to add an IP to the Whitelist, that IP won't get whitelisted and I still receive the 403 error.
I can't figure out if this is a configuration problem or if there's something else I'm missing.
Can you give me some advice? Would you suggest something else to replace mod_evasive?
I'm using apache 2.4.9, if you need any other information just ask.
Thank you very much. |
