OK, here's a tricky one.
I have a site that serves hundreds of documents, each in a folder that contains associated information. But some people circulate links to the documents instead of to the folders. Thus many people are missing out on the associated info.
So what I would like to do is to redirect everyone to a "preview page", which links to the catalog of folders ("Oh, cool, I never knew about this catalog.") and then, if they don't want that catalog ("Nope, just give me the file I asked for."), to continue on to the file they asked for. I don't just want to blindly redirect them to the catalog, because then they have to scroll and scroll to find what they wanted in that catalog.
What are my options? |
