Hi Guys,
I’m new to the Apache universe, I didn’t know XAMPP existed so I installed Apache2.2 manually and I was installing PHP, Apache works fine, PHP does not.
I’d like to uninstall completely Apache2.2 in order to be able to install XAMPP correctly (with PHP, mysql, etc…).
I have used the command ‘httpd –k uninstall’ but it does not work. I can’t find anything in the Apache folders relating to uninstall.
Regarding PHP, I did not get the time yet to uninstall what’s so far installed.
Could you please explain to me how to:
- Uninstall Apache2.2
- Uninstall PHP
That would allow me to move forward on a good project!
Thanks in advance guys!

Asume you did not used a .msi for install.
To see if a Apache service still there run :
services.msc
When no, just delete the Apache and PHP folder.
btw. Xampp uses the Apache from apachelounge. |
