Hello people,

I have a little problem with VirtualHosts and Directory directive. I am working on a Wordpress site and I set up permalinks which obviously gives me 404 not found errors. I enabled mod_rewrite and uncommented Include conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf. After this I went into httpd-vhosts.conf and created virtual host like so

<VirtualHost localhost/dts:80>
ServerName localhost
DocumentRoot d:/stranice/dts
<Directory "d:/Stranice/dts/">
AllowOverride All
</Directory>
</VirtualHost>

I am using .htaccess from wordpress to rewrite links and when I put <Directory> directive out of <VirtualHost> directive everything works but when <Directory> directive is inside <VirtualHost> i again get 404 not found errors.

If anyone know what is wrong I would really appreciate it.

Your config need to be different.

<VirtualHost localhost/dts:80>

has to be

<VirtualHost *:80>

Than http://localhost will display the (parsed) content of d:/Stranice/dts/
