I have installed php 64bit with the intention of using it for a production Joomla based intranet site.
Since the 64bit builds are "experimental", what kind of problems could I potentially encounter and is it a bad idea to run the 64bit version on a production site?
Also, are there any performance improvements to be gained by using the 64bit version? |

I run 64bit in production on Joomla 2.5 in a high traffic website on multiple windows servers 2008 and 2012. Without any issues. |

I use nginx, apache (from here) and php 5.5.7 from windows.php.net . All in 64bit and i have the same traffic that hits apachelounge right now. (I output more bandwidth than apachelounge because i host videos and images.), (1GBPS). |
