Did you install the MS VC++ Redistributable?

Also, please review the following Post:

I saved Apache in D:/WebWebServer/Apache
I'm really sorry for talking about this in 3 threads, I'll keep it here. But, please, help me solve this problem! Neutral
I did everything as you said... and when I come to the step which says
>httpd.exe -k install
And i try to run httpd.exe, it simply turns off...
Please help me, man, I'm only 14 and I'm new here... I'm really close to become depressed Crying or Very sad

Please remain calm - lol

Follow my suggestions I'm going to make.

It's time to start over. Do exactly what I say to do in the post below:

http://www.apachelounge.com/viewtopic.php?t=570

Use the same folders that I do in that post. You will NOT have to re-install VC++ Redistrib.

After you follow EXACTLY what I have written in that post - tell me how it went and we will go from there - Ok?

OK, I've calmed down a bit.... Smile
I can't do that, because it takes a lot of time. I needed about 4h to download Apache and PHP! If I do that again, it will be about 11:30PM... in my time.
I've done everything EXACTLY like your steps say, the only difference is in my folder names. I shouldn't pu t it in C because my computer is divided into Windows 98 and Windows XP, and for XP I use D...
BTW, I hope that you can understand what I am saying, my English is probably not very well...
The problem is just that he cannot find the specified module, and I don't really see why Sad I've overwriten it with Steffen's 3 times now...

Do you still have the downloads from your original setup? IF so you do NOT have to download again.

Since you want to put on your D: drive, then use D:\Apache2 and D:\php5 respectively (just substitute D for C in my tutorial).

You will also need to make changes in your httpd.conf and php.ini.

The reason the php5apache2.dll has to be overwritten with Steffen's is because Steffen uses a different compiler than PHP.net does. Simply put - Steffen's compiler is newer compiler and actually runs smoother and faster.

Your English is fine.
