Topic: mod_fcgid error with script alias path

I am trying to upgrade to apache 2.4.6 with mod_fcgid 2.3.7, pulled from the binaries built with vs2010 from apache lounge, however mod_fcgid is causing me problems with the error

[fcgid:error] [pid 1872:tid 412] (OS 2)The system cannot find the file specified. : mod_fcgid: can't run C:/Program

It appears as though this is a direct correlation to https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=52795 and the tied in bug https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=51194.

When I attempted to manually build mod_fcgid with the fixes mentioned above it still failed. I took the latest version from subversion and built it without success either. Also, I have tried escaping the spaces in my conf file as well as using the 8.3 file path and mod_fcgid is still not happy.

My conf file script alias reads
ScriptAlias /name/ "C:/Program Files/Company Name/apache2.4/cgi-bin/nameoffile.exe"


Does anyone have suggestions on what to do next?

As far I know ScriptAlias is only for the path and not the binary file. [1]

What is your config for
AddHandler and FcgidWrapper ?

Please post your config (snippet).
