|
|
I cannot uninstalling Apache 2.2 from my Win7 PC.
First of all it is not listed in the add/remove programs and second there is not a bin file in the folders. The only folders I find are conf, htdocs and logs.
Currently I use Apache 2.4.
Apache 2.2 is useless to me as you understand and so the service is stopped-as such I want to remove it from the system. |

Try in a Command window:
>sc.exe delete xxxxx
Where xxxxx is the Service name. |

Yes that did it.
The only thing that remains are the folders.
I will delete these too.
Is there anything else I must do?
Any registry entries maybe? |

That should be enough.
You can search the registry with Apache and see if there is some left. |

I use the Administrator rights to run the command "httpd -k uninstall" and then delete the apache folder. It can also uninstall the app. |
