Build with Visual Studio® 2012 Update 2 aka VC11. Which has optimizations, improvements and fixes over VC11 update 1 in areas like C++, Performance, Memory Management and Stability. And makes more use of latest processors and internal features of win7, win8, 2012 and 2008.
Build with the same httpd/modules and dependencies sources as the VC10 version, except:
*) Updated apr-util to 1.5.2 from 1.4.1 (Changelog)
*) Upped Winver to 600 in Apache source, so it uses now (optimized) features/functions introduced in the latest versions (win7, 2008, win8 and 2012), and reduces overhead by not using functions of Win98, NT, XP, 2000, 2003 etc..
A VC11 binary loads VC10 and VC9 modules.
Minimum system required:
Windows 7 SP1
Windows 8 / 8.1
Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
Windows Server 2012 / R2
Windows Vista SP2
So, no XP and 2003.
2.4.4 Info & Changelog
Download Binaries & Modules
Enjoy,
Steffen

Downloaded 32-bit build for production (Windows2008 server) and 64-bit for testing/development environment (Windows 8 workstation) and both are working without any flaws. |

I'm running the x64 version on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and it's working great so far
It's a shame I didn't know about this page earlier, was still running that old (official) apache 2.2 build.
Thanks for your work and keep it up! |
