I'm interested in getting the latest (1.2.37) mod_jk Windows binaries for Apache 2.2.x, 64-bit. However ApacheLounge as well as apache.org and its mirrors only provide Windows binaries for Apache 2.2 for 32-bit systems. They have the binaries for 2.0, 2.2, and 2.4 in 32-bit, but for 64-bit, only for 2.4. Is there some oversight or is this intentional? Is there somehow (other than setting up a Windows build environment and compiling from source) that I can obtain mod_jk 1.2.37 for Apache 2.2, 64-bit, on Windows?
Thanks for any assistance.

As with all Apache binaries on any OS, it's all done on a voluntary basis. So if no one that builds it needs it for your version and platform, chances are it's not even thought about. Not intentional, no secret pact between binary distributors, just the way it happens to fall into (or not fall into) place.
I will say it's getting time to move onto 2.4, what is stopping you today? This can be useful for us to know and was even a topic of discussion last month on the dev mailing list. |

In a nutshell, concerns about the stability of crucial systems, a slow-moving production major upgrade cycle, general organizational resistance to change. The usual. 2.4 is tentatively being considered for production in our next major upgrade iteration, which isn't until next year. |

Do not know why the 2.2 is not at the Tomcat connectors download page.
I shall 2.2 x64 give a try to build, stay tuned.
