Has anyone heard what's going on with Win32 source not being provided for 2.2.23 and 2.4.x by the ASF? I haven't been able to find much info on it.

You can read this back a few in the mail thread here.

Bill also created the Win32 source packages. So till he comes up for air, they may not arrive.

They are not hard to make if you have VC6, of course, they cannot be made without it.

Since the source packages never come out till the day of or a few days after a release typically, I make them after the tag during the test & vote time so I can build Apache at the command line (if I actually cared to). They are also exported out of SVN with the proper line endings so one does not have to run lineends on them.

You can also, grab the tar.gz, extract, run:
perl srclib\apr\build\lineends.pl

then xcopy /s /v all .mak & .dep files from 2.2.22. Nothing has changed in the 2.2 build in over a year. The last change was the addition of mod_proxy_scgi if I am remembering correctly.

Disheartening that the ASF has only one person that does the Win32 source/binaries. I'll give it a go to do the steps necessary to get the source to a state where it can be compiled on Win32.

Thanks!
