I am running Joomla 2.5 on my local quad core PC (i72630QM 16GB RAM) W7 64.
WampServer 2.2:
Apache 5.2.21
PHP 5.3.8
MySQL 5.5.16
Just bringing up the empty home page on this new joomla install:
DNS Lookup: 1ms
Sending: 1ms
Waiting: 4.14s
Receiving: 5ms
Size/content: <50k
Joomla debug profile information shows it takes less than 500ms to render the page. What could be causing the latency??
Have spent days trying to figure out what the bottleneck is and would appreciate your help... Thanks--
Sam
PS - disabling MSE antivirus makes no difference |

Which tool did you use to measure that? Did you test it on localhost? |
