ModSecurity 2.6.2 is now available at the Win32 and Win64 download page.

Also updated to the latest pcre 8.13 and libxml2 2.7.8

PCRE 8.13 had an issue, back to PCRE 8.12, see below.

Changes:

When deploy the new mod_security rule set 2.2.2,there is a fatal error shows.

Code:

modsecurity_crs_41_sql_injection_attacks.conf at line483
error creating rule:error compiling pattern <offset 44>:POSIX collating elements are not supported

Code:
modsecurity_crs_41_advanced_filters.conf at line 296 error creating rule:error compiling pattern <offset 98>:POSIX collating elements are not supported

Is there any good idea to solve this issue?
Is there anything compiling error?Rolling Eyes

I install apache 2.2.21 and modsecurity 2.6.2 downloaded from apachelounge.

I make a test.

I use modsecurity 2.6.1 version to test rule set 2.2.2.
It works with no error message.

It possibly that modsecurity 2.6.2 makes errors when compiling.

Can compile modsecurity 2.6.2 again to fix those error mentioned above?

I shall have a look. I have the feeling that PCRE 8.13 is causing it.

I shall build a new with 8.12 today.

mod sec is on apachehaus.com, but it is only 2.5.13.

You should think about upgrading to apache 2.2, cause when apache 2.4 will be release the 2.0 will be EOL kinda soon.

Thank you. But we can't upgrade apache 2.2 version for several reason. So, i am looking for 2.62 version on apache 2.0.64.
