| Dowloaded windows apache 2.2 version but the installer keeps interupting it self ...for a newbie it has left me no where to go ..any thoughts |

I've seen what I think is the same problem. I was trying to install Apache 2.0.58 or 2.2 on my PC running NT4. The installer just reports 'process interrupted' and 'no files changed'.
I did an install with the log option. Here is the start of the log :

I eventually installed 2.0.58 using NT5.0 (same multi-boot PC) so it looks like a problem with the installer and NT4.
Any clues on how I can get the install to work on NT4 will be greatly appreciated.
