The long-awaited major upgrade of ModSecurity is finally here. For a list of improvements see here. There were no changes since 1.9RC4.

| running a website on windows xp, using apache 2.0 php 5.1 added mod security, dont see any logs as of yet, any ideas ? |

Do you have the log directives set ?
For example:
SecFilterDefaultAction "deny,log,status:403"
SecAuditEngine RelevantOnly
SecAuditLog x:/xxxx/xxxxx/mod_security.log
