Hello,
I have created a 'Apache User' on my server. For security reasons, this user runs the Apache service.
I gave this user modify rights on my PHP and Apache directory.
This worked perfectly when using mod_php.
Today, I switched to mod_fcgid 2.3.6 and I noticed that the Apache service wouldn't start anymore. After some bug hunting, I decided to run the Apache Service with the (builtin) 'Local System Account' from Windows 2008 Server and my Apache Service was starting perfectly.
Any ideas which extra permissions mod_fcgid needs on the PHP and Apache-directory? Why does mod_php work with the Apache-user and mod_fcgid needs to run with the local system account to get Apache up & running?
Regards. |
