Hi
I am new to Apache so pls be kind. I am used to IIS and the ability to see the $_Server[REMOTE_USER] .
I understand I dont get that with Apache unless I use add on Authentication modules. I really need to get a windows account name so can someone point me to an easy to follow, newbee explanation of setting up authentication in windows?
I must be getting old because when I search all I get are explanations that assume knowledge or are all based around Unix OS's and they make my head ache!
Pls help |
