i m using apache 2.2.16, windows xp
i connect activate the server and it shows 'the requested operation has failed'

tried test configuration, no problem

tried to use httpd.exe -e debug,

[Tue Sep 28 14:37:23 2010] [notice] Child 2300: Starting 64 worker threads.
[Tue Sep 28 14:37:23 2010] [notice] Child 2300: Starting thread to listen on port 8080.
seems listening on 8080 in debug mode

added exception on windows firewall. i m using nod32 antivirus. do not know it's the matter or not. but this one seems doesnt hv a firewall

i installed wampserver before, it works, but uninstalled it now
the name of the server in apache is still wampapache, i delete the whole folder or wampserver, as well as the prefetch. i dont know where the name come from. i hv already uninstall and install the apache again. the name still exists

please help. searched for whole day and still cant solve the problem Sad

For me I figured out that I couldn't run apache with nod32. Uninstalled nod32 apache works fine. (that was with mod32 version 2.5)
