Hi, I'm pretty new to all of this, but I'm working on a webpage that has a bunch of different documents to download (.doc, .txt, .pdf, .html, ...). I want to ensure the http response has the correct Content-Language, Content-Encoding, Char-set info, but am not sure how to do so. I found I can view the Content-Type for all the documents using http://www.dan.co.uk/viewsource, which checks it via url. I also figured out how to edit the language in the metadata of the .html documents.
I'm really confused on how to edit the other doc types, and check/edit the actual http Content-Language, Content-Encoding responses. I've tried Telnet with little success.
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! |
