Where you doing something else at the time?
Moving files from PC to pc? Viewing video ect.
It doen't have to be your PC to server
but PC1 to PC2 will saturate the network aswel |

I have the same problem. When large (200MB) files are downloaded. I work on WinXp Pro, Apache 2.0.55. Html, and php files are served fast, but images, archives, etc. works extremly slow. CPU usage is about 1-3%, Network flow is also small and the files are downloading with 4-6kb/s... ANy ideas? |

After installing SP2 for XP. The maximum connections are limited. In the net you can find tool that remove that.
A nother handicap is QoS (qualitity of service) Apache can not handle this correctly. Disable QoS in the networkcard settings.
Also check the windows firewall for giving free the Port 80.
Hope that helps. |
