hi all,
i have installed suse linux 11.0.
I have successfully installed LAMP on it, but when i try to run from local host it, the index.html from the root folder (httdocs) doesnt show in the browser, insted it gets bypassed by Beagal in it. It says beagal is indexing local host and a file runs and show "It Works" message in the browser, so any one have idea how to remove this from there, as i need to do web site in linux , thanks for the help in advance.

Often there is an include with a welcome.conf which a rewrite rule. If there is that include comment it out with # and restart apache.

Also you can check access_log and error_log which files are called.
