Hi ,
I Have a Apache server running on windows. My cgi scripts basically need to read data from Windows Shared Network location. My cgi scripts fail to give the proper reeport. If I use a location on my local machine, they work fine.
Please help. |

if you are running apache as serive it can't access networkdrives, cause the system user does not have the permission to do that.
You can try to run your service with a different user. |

Hi,
Thanks for the info.
I am newbie with Apache and am using this for the first time.
Most of the data which i need to process lies on a remote location.
If you can suggest to me how I can run with a different user, it would be grately helpfull.
Also I didn't get by what u meant by
"apache as serive"
Hopefully its just a typo. |
