I am very new to apache and the whole business of web server. i have installed apache 2.2. services worked fine , i am able to connect to "localhost" and 127.0.0.1 from the same machine, however when i type my site www.mysite.com i am getting "server timed out.
I have a linksys router of which i have open port 80 .
can someone help me??? |

Look at your Windows Firewall.
Good place to start if it can not be viewed from another machine over the network. |

i found the problem. Had to modify my DMZ settings in my router. |
