Topic: [Done] Apache 2.2.11 txt files won't be displayed

Hi,
I am running this:
Apache/2.2.11 (Win32) PHP/5.2.8, MySQL 5.1.30-community under Win XP SP3

Shortly before I had the same, except that it was Apache 2.2.10.

I uninstalled Apache and installed the new 2.2.11. All is fine except one thing.

Normally and before *.txt files were displayed in browsers. Now with the newer version *.txt files are only displayed in Internet Explorer. Opera and Firefox deny to display and offer a download.

This is not only with my browsers here. All people I asked to test got the same problem when they try to view a text file on my server.

For a try I replaced the mimetypes with the ones from 2.2.10. No change.

Has anyone got a clue where to search for the bug?

Sorry folks, I got it. The txt file I wanted to display were contaning code and Firefox and Opera denied to display it and offered a download. When I try another txt it works fine. So it was due to only that txt file.
