We are using the Dreams software, which needs the server support,
and we would like to run and work this software remotely.

When i ping the ip address of the machine where the apache and dreams both installed, it says "Request timed out".

Can you ping a client PC from the server itself? Installed a firewall / configured windows firewall? Which OS do you use?
