I have installed the Apache 2.2.8 msi file as well as the PHP 5.2.5 msi file.
I am running Apache locally as it is for testing purposes before a live site is uploaded to an actual server. My server/domain are localhost. I am on Windows XP Pro.
Apache loads fine in the background meaning I get no errors and httpd.exe is in task manager. However, I cannot load http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1 as it says cannot find server.
Also when I try to run a simple test script of phpinfo.php, it gives me a blank white page.
Thanks |

Change the
Listen 8080
to
Listen 80
than you can use http://localhost
How did you set up PHP? in Your httpd.conf?
Sure that:
- You use the right file extension? (by default Winows hides known extension)
So the file name may be test.php.txt
- Did you enable short_open_tag = On |
