Probably a simple minded question but I need to update 2.4.39 to 2.4.62. do I just copy the files over or do I need to do other actions? I do not want to break our medical systems. Thank you in advance.  |

just copy the files over!
BUT before you do that READ THIS FIRST
after you unzip the newest apache release,theres a folder in there called "conf" delete that folder inside the new release BEFORE you overwrite the files
if you dont remove the conf folder from the new release,it will overwrite your current server configuration and ruin your webserver. |
