OpenSSL 3.1.6 has a published vulnerability that OpenSSL has acknowledged but stated they are not doing an out of band release for.. but they have offered a Git commit for the upcoming OpenSSL 3.1.7 that has it resolved. My employer is wanting to get our externally facing Apache instance updated with this but I lack the tools/environment to build Apache with this OpenSSL git commit myself. Is there anyone that has already done this or would be willing to give it a shot? Here is the OpenSSL page with the Git commit link..
