I'm accessing a page on my webserver that has an index.php in a subdirectory. No index.html. I had a (dummy) one a while before, but enabled the index.php instead.
The index.php isn't acting correctly at the moment. Looking for reasons I find
Code: | [Wed Jul 26 09:29:39.445885 2023] [negotiation:error] [pid 11636] [client 88.111.22.133:52857] AH00687: Negotiation: discovered file(s) matching request: /var/www/webroot/muster/index.html (None could be negotiated). |
What can be the cause for this?
EDIT: after a little bit of research on "content negotiation" I found that the existing index.html.sav, although it has been renamed to "get out of the way" triggered the negotiation.
I also found that the directory /var/www had MultiViews enabled:
Code: | <Directory /var/www/>
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
AllowOverride None
Require all granted
</Directory> |
